Great work to POB players Stu Grigg, Chris Miller, Ben Southam and Al Wood for competing in the VAFA sponsored pre-season biathlon at Brighton beach over the weekend.
Bay Pollution prevented the swim portion of the event, which was replaced by a barefoot beach sprint prior to the 6k run along the esplanade.
Windy conditions made it tough on the day but to their credit, the boys put in a terrific finishing strongly and placing well into the top half of the field.
